“The one day interview training course run by K.A.G. was an excellent review of all the important principles around recruiting starting with CV selection all the way through to the on boarding process with a clear emphasis on considering the implications of all aspects of the process – particularly from the candidate’s point of view.

I found the course very useful, and the practical aspects clearly reinforced the important point of seeing beyond the CV.

Real world examples of how these processes can work well or not also helped to raise our awareness of the pitfalls and benefits of basing selection on CV content, language, grammar and experience and revealed that even though the candidate might not look too attractive it is almost always worth speaking to any candidates put forward by K.A.G. as they screen any potential applicants so any CV forwarded has already been assessed and found to be suitable in some respect not always readily apparent.

Interviewing techniques were also covered and provided a very useful guide to ensuring that the interviewer is able to get a clearer idea of the person’s strengths and weaknesses by asking the right questions and that also the interviewee feels they have been treated fairly and can see the opportunities and progression a career at ABP has to offer.”
