K.A.G. Recruitment are delighted to be exclusively supporting our client, a well-established and reputable Manufacturing company with their continued growth and team development to recruit a Stock Controller based at their site in Great Bridge.

Position:  Stock Controller
Location: Great Bridge, UK
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Reporting To: Operations Manager

The Role:
The position of Stock Controller calls for a well organised, driven and articulate person who would be interested in joining a dynamic organisation. You will work as part of the wider team to achieve the company’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle after-sales issues efficiently, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee procurement and stock management, ensuring cost-effective purchasing strategies.
  • Support sales and production to ensure operations run smoothly without impacting lead times.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing office and factory efficiencies.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.

About You:

  • Experience  in a Manufacturing environment, demonstrating the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of effective negotiation and problem-solving.
  • Proactive, with a history of using initiative to improve processes or reduce costs.
