Site Services Engineer
We have been instructed exclusively to recruit a Site Services Engineer to join our client a technology driven, specialist industrial services provider offering a wide range of mechanical engineering solutions and technical services to a broad spectrum of industries.
Job Title: Site Services Engineer
Location: Southampton
Salary: Upto £34k DOE + OT (time and a half Mon-Sat & Double pay on Sunday/ Bank holiday) + Company Van
Duties:
- Carry out Repairs to all types of industrial equipment including AC and DC motors, Motorised Gearboxes, Gearbox’s, Pumps, Fan units and other associated rotating equipment.
- Fault find and identify and rectify defects and worn / damaged components.
- Assess electrical condition of AC & DC components.
- Identify and rectify faulty and worn / damaged components and understand reclamation techniques and reverse engineering options.
- Participate in call out rota as required.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a similar role and possess a sound understanding of Engineering. You will be flexible in your approach to work and be able to work in a demanding and busy 24/7 service orientated environment.
You will be used to working on site in addition to the workshop when required (Site working experience is a distinct advantage and suitable qualifications such as CCNSG would be highly advantageous.
You will be a strong communicator and have the ability to work well as part of a team or independently. It is essential that you have rotating equipment experience which can be motors, gearboxes or pumps.
