Nightshift Production Manager

We currently have a fantastic new opportunity available for a Nightshift Production Manager to join our client a leading Food Manufacturer based at their site in Ellesmere, Shropshire.

Job Title: Nightshift Production Manager
Location: Ellesmere, Shropshire
Salary: £35 – £45,000 (DOE)
Hours: Evenings Sun-Fri 5pm to 1am (Sat night off/rotating day off during week)
Job Type: Permanent

Role:
You will have the ability to plan, organise, manage and execute this new project from beginning to end. This opportunity will offer you the chance to build upon your current leadership knowledge within a fast-paced state of the art food production facility.  As Production Manager you will play a vital role in leading the team and ensuring production activities and targets are continuously met.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Effectively lead and manage the production facility

Manage, lead  and coach a team once department completed and operational

Ensure that day to day deadlines and targets are met in this high-volume production facility

Responsible for working on waste, downtime, overall line service, quality and production in this fast-paced challenging environment.

The successful candidate will have proven experience working within a Food /FMCG Manufacturing environment.  You will be a strong communicator with the ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment with the ability to multi-task.   You will be results driven and able to build relationships with site colleagues and stakeholders.
