Multi-skilled Engineer (Electrical bias)

Due to expansion within the team we have an amazing opportunity available for an experienced Multi-skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join our client one of Europe’s leading privately-owned food processors at their site in Ellesmere.

Job Title:  Multi-skilled  Engineer (Electrical bias)
Location:  Ellesmere
Salary:       35,000 –  46,000 DOE
Hours of Work – 5am to 5pm 4 on 4 off days

Purpose of the role:
You will work as part of the Primal Engineering Team who are responsible for the efficient up keep and smooth performance of the factory, reporting to Primal Engineering Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure successful completion of assigned Electrical Reactive and preventative maintenance in a safe and timely manner
Ensuring full compliancy at all times whilst on site in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of staff and visitors to the site
Ensure all paperwork and check sheets are completed in an accurate and timely manner
Ability to prioritise workload as required, liaising with your manager to ensure a satisfactory conclusion.

Mentor and develop engineering apprentice

The ideal candidate will have completed an Electrical/Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent, have good interpersonal skills, a high degree of self-motivation and the ability to meet the demand of a fast paced food environment.

You will have a strong understanding of Industrial Electronics (Knowledge in Control Panels/Systems, variable speed drives, motors, low voltage DC, single and three phase wiring, etc.

Strong fault finding and diagnosing skills and the ability to take action to ensure all issues are resolved, you will be a strong communicator who works well as part of a team.
