Field Engineering Stores Technician

We have been instructed exclusively to recruit a Field Engineering Stores Technician to join our client a technology driven, specialist industrial services provider offering a wide range of mechanical engineering solutions and technical services to a broad spectrum of industries at a number of sites across Ireland.   

Job Title: Field Engineering Stores Technician 
Location: Dublin/Cork
Salary: 32,000 – 35,000 Euros + Company Van, hotel & food expenses paid, Fuel Card
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm

Duties:

  • Engineering Stores stock configuration up to 5S Standards.
  • Engineering Stores refurbishment.
  • Engineering Stores Racking, configuration and assembly.
  • Engineering Stock checks.
  • Referencing, verifying, transferring, and logging engineering spares.
  • Updating and managing excel data reports.
  • Attending customer sites.
  • Handling, referencing, and quantifying engineering stocked items.
  • Transferring and reconfiguring engineering stocked items.
  • Stores Racking assembly.
  • Working in small groups from 2 to 6 people in a team.

The position would involve working away from home on a 4 night per week basis between Monday and Friday and you will be provided with a Company van and fuel card along with allowances via the company card to cover accommodation, food and travel.

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.  You will have experience working within a similar environment/industry either from working within Engineering Stores or Warehouse within Stores, Goods in or Despatch.

You will have strong IT skills within Word & Excel and be self-motivated to work both independently and part of a wider teams whilst on site.
