Deputy Quality Manager

K.A.G. Recruitment are working on a fantastic exclusive opportunity for a Deputy Quality Manager to join our client, a market leading Pet Food Manufacturer based in Boulogne Sur Mer, Northern France.

Role: Deputy Quality Manager
Location: Boulogne Sur Mer, Northern France
Salary: 40k € to 55k € DOE (paid on a 13-month basis)
Benefits: 218 working days per year, Annual Leave (25 days), Extra Days Off (8 to 10 days depending on calendar year- to arrive at 218)
Seniority Bonus: starting after 3 years (+3%)

As the Deputy Quality Manager at our clients Boulogne Factory, you’ll be part of a leading progressive organisation who are a specially formulated cat and dog food producer that are recognised for their innovation, collaboration, quality and market expertise.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Maintain the Quality Management System in accordance with the various standards in force and actively participate in its deployment to the various stakeholders.
• Write, update and improve the various documents of the food quality and management system.
• Manage both internal and external audits in collaboration with the Quality Manager and oversee corrective & preventative action plans.
• Work with various stakeholders to set up, deploy and update documents or operating procedures.
• Support the 2 Production sites in the absence of Quality Control Managers.
• Analyse root causes of non-conformities identified.
• Be a point of contact for customers.

You will ideally be educated to Degree level in a Engineering/ Quality or Science related discipline and have previous experience in a Manufacturing / or Food processing background.

You will possess excellent people management skills and the ability to work effectively and communicate well in a demanding environment with experience of working to BRC/ IFS standards.

Fluency within English and French both written and verbal is essential for this role.
