Raw Materials Coordinator

K.A.G. Recruitment are looking to recruit a Raw Materials Coordinator to join our client, a progressive and inclusive leader in Feed Mill Manufacturing based in Allensmore, Herefordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a developing team within the Agricultural sector.

Role:  Raw Materials Coordinator
Location: Allensmore, Hereford
Package: £24,000 – £26,000 + 31 days holiday, 6% pension, Life Assurance, Various lifestyle benefits

Purpose of the role:
You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration within the department. You will be a support for the Raw Materials Manager and be required to work closely with various departments within Avara Foods, as well as external customers and suppliers.

Duties:

• Answering any queries into the Feed mill via phone or email
• Daily communication with Raw material suppliers and hauliers
• Various data entry using a variety of applications
• Answering invoice queries
• General administrative duties as required
• Working closely with different departments within the business, including the Mill
• Management team and Mill Production staff.
• Placing orders onto our computerised system as advised by the Raw Materials Manager
• Providing cover when the Raw Material Manager is away.

About you:

• Proven ability to learn quickly, using your own initiative, with little supervision
• GCSE in Math’s and English or equivalent.
• Intermediate IT Skills and good knowledge of Excel
• Previous experience in an administrative role
• Proven organisational skills, including time management and prioritisation
• Numerate and analytical with an eye for detail
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
