My advice to any candidate when interviewing for multiple roles would always be – to ensure that you explore all avenues available to you, in order for you to be able to make an informed decision before you accept any offer.
Far too often candidates accept an offer and don’t continue with interview processes. Whilst I totally understand that you need to be in employment, earning a salary – what you don’t want is to be sat in 6 months’ time wondering what could have been…
So the advice that I always give to candidates that I am working with is to see everything through. I don’t want them to accept a role that I have offered to them until they are 100% that they have made the right decision.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the advice that I hear is being given across the board.
